1939 – 2024
William (Bill) Gordon Jennings passed away at the Moncton
City Hospital on April 14,2024 Bill was born in Woodstock,
NB to Gordon and Helen (Chapman) Jennings.
He graduated from Woodstock High in 1958 and joined the RCAF
in August’58, where he became a Radar Technician
(Navigational Aids) and was honourably released in 1965 with the rank
of Corporal. He then went to work for NBTel in Saint John in the
Mobile Shop, transferring to Moncton Mobile Shop as supervisor in
1972. Prior to retirement, he was a Construction
Supervisor.
Survived by his wife, Barbara (Brewer), sons Scott (Tracy),
Brian (Crystal), grandchildren Josh, Taylor, Evan, sister, Jean (John
Johnston), Aunt Louise Matthews, brother-in- law John Graham)
sisters-in-laws, Brenda, Beverly (Dick) Poulin, several nieces and
nephews.
Predeceased by his parents, his sister Ann, his nephews
Michael and Richard, brother-in-law, Joe Buckley.
Bill loved, beside his family, travelling (especially Hawaii
and the Mediterranean), photography, his Siamese cats and working on
puzzles.
Special thanks to the staff of 5100 who provided wonderful
care, Wayne Brown, Reverend David Hawkesworth, Dr. McCaw and
staff.
The family will be receiving relatives and friends at
Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine
Road, Riverview, NB (506-869-2007) on Tuesday April 23, 2024
from 5:00 – 7:00 pm. Donations can be made to the
Atlantic Wildlife Institute, Salvation Army, or a charity of your
choice.
