She was predeceased by her husband Willard King; brothers Gordon, Jimmy, and infant brother John Black; her sister Joan Emmerson and her husband Bob.

She was formerly employed with T. Eaton Company and was a member of the Bethel Presbyterian Church. Mom loved her family and worked at home raising her children until they were older, then worked at Walton’s bakery and Rick’s Flower Shop. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, decorating cakes, creating various crafts and painting projects. She was always giving away or selling various items she created. She was so proud of her grandchildren and loved spending time with them most of all.

A special thanks to the Management and staff of The Silver Fox Estates for caring, loving and supporting mom these past 2 years. She absolutely loved it there. Thanks to Drs. Mansfield and Legere and staff of the palliative care unit at The Moncton Hospital, we truly appreciate your kindness and caring. During her last 2 weeks she enjoyed so many visits from special people in her life and DQ treats.

In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations to the Diabetic Society or TMH palliative care unit.

The family will be receiving friends and relatives at Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Road, Riverview (506-869-2007) on Friday, May 10 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM.  A service celebrating her life will take place at the Funeral Home on Saturday, May 11 at 1:30 PM with Rev.
