Beverley Wilkins MacLean of Moncton passed away on Tuesday, May 7th, 2024. Born in Saint John, she was the daughter of the late Reginald and Audrey (Dalton) Wilkins.
She will be forever missed by her loving children, Tammy Goguen (Robbie) and Krista Spence (Mark); her grandchildren, Megan (Serge), Ryan (Emily), Connor and Audrey; her four sweet great granddaughters, Ella, Gracie, Emma, and Kaia (Sara); her brother Reginald Wilkins (Bev) as well as several special nieces (Dar and Missy), nephews and friends, you know who you are (You are all her favourite). Aside from her parents, she was predeceased by sisters; Jessie and Joan and brothers; Donnie and Clarence.

She loved to dance. The jive was her dance of choice. She was also known to hold a hula hoop up for hours. Bev was rarely seen without a Pepsi in hand (condolences to Pepsi co for the decrease in sales in the coming year). She loved to watch hockey, although we were never clear who she was cheering for, the Montreal Canadiens or the Toronto Maple Leaf’s. It depended on the company she was with.
Her passion was mainly her family. She loved deeply. She had a magnetic personality. She attracted all people, young, old, wealthy, or poor. No judgement was held. Bev’s love as a grandmother was a love that will forever stay in the hearts of her grandchildren. She had a way of making each one believe that they were her favourite.

This lady was spunky and strong, small but mighty, but also soft and sweet. If you were lucky enough to be loved by her, she would literally give you "the shirt off her back" at any time. Bev loved her friendships, and in the last year she was especially grateful for all the love and support she received. She was known by all at the Moncton Hospital (all floors) as a warrior, resilient, persistent, a fighter.

Bev had two beautiful, smart, talented, and creative daughters (they wrote this, so super beautiful). The relationship was unlike the average. We learned from each other, grew, and loved together, never giving up on one another; not always perfect, but perfectly done. Protection and love at its highest level. A love and bond that can/ will never be broken.

Rest well, sweet Mama.

"Heros get remembered, but legends never die."
