Linda MacDuff passed away peacefully at home on November 5, 2024.

Born in Moncton she was raised in Sackville and daughter of the late James and Helen (nee Fenton) MacDuff.

She will be missed and remembered by her son Charlie (Lise) Burrell, daughters: Lonnie MacDuff, Lisa Burrell, sister Heather (Mark) Maschio, brother Daren (Danielle) MacDuff, grandchildren: Bailey, Laila, Cassidy, Kennedy and several nieces and nephews.

Aside from her parents, Linda was predeceased by her brother Mark Short.

Linda found joy in spending time with family and close friends. She had a soft spot for her kitty (Tara) aka "whackadoodle". Linda loved traveling and did many trips on her Harley. She never came back without a piece of silver to add to her collection. She also loved pottery, antiques, photography, and native art.

Linda was a kind-hearted woman with a fiery spirit. She would help anyone she could and stand up to people twice her size. She had a special spot in her heart for children and helped many young people over the years. She was a Cook at The Chris Rock Tavern, and many other establishments. She owned a second-hand store and was a caregiver for many years. Linda was a bonus mom to Charlie, and Lisa; she did an amazing job and loved them as her own. Linda never missed anything big or small. She was always a present and supportive mother and grandmother.

If you were blessed enough to know Linda, know that she loved you whole heartedly and she would want us to always remember to be kind and help others. She will be dearly missed by many.

Her children would like to thank Aunt Kathy and her friend Liane for all they have done over the last couple of years to help their mother during her illness.

The family will be receiving relatives and friends for a celebration of life on Tuesday, November 12, 2024 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Rd. Riverview (506-869-2007). In lieu of flowers, a donation in her memory may be made to PAWs (formerly SPCA), What Kids Need, or a charity of the donor’s choice.
