Janet Ann Gordon of Riverview passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Sunday, November 10, 2024. Born in Saint John, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Laudia (nee Richard) Boucher. Having retired 16 years ago, she was a seamstress for many companies while she enjoyed spending time at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church and was a member of the Ladies Society. She also volunteered at the Lakeview Manor, Albert County Food Bank and Harvest House. Janet was also an animal lover and loved her cat Millie. At home she liked to do needlepoint.
She will be missed and remembered by her sons: Michael of Moncton, Darren and Steven of Riverview, her brother Norman (Valerie Grant) of Saint John, and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Aside from her parents, Janet was predeceased by her husband Norbert (Mike) Gordon.
Janet's family will be receiving relatives and friends on Sunday, November 17, 2024 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm with parish prayers at 7:30pm at Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Rd. Riverview (506-869-2007). Funeral Service will be on Monday at 10:00am at Immaculate Heart of Mary RC Church, 5 Fatima Dr, Riverview.
