It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Rhoda Margery Lennox, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend. She left us peacefully on Sunday, May 18th, 2025, in Riverview, New Brunswick.
Born on November 17, 1935, in Swift Current, Saskatchewan, she was the cherished only daughter (with four brothers) of Zaner and Margery Mack. She moved to Nova Scotia as a young child and spent her childhood and early adult years there. In her professional life, she was an RN and a head nurse working in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
On January 23, 1958, she married Donald Robert
Lennox. They celebrated their
67th wedding anniversary this past
January. Rhoda is survived by her loving husband, Donald,
and their children: Eric Lennox, Janet (Brian) Whinfield, Carolyn
(Anu) Gupta, and Robert (Shanda) Lennox. She was a proud grandmother
to six grandchildren: Skye, Stratford, Asia, Daia, Arye , and Sarina,
and a great-grandmother to her great-grandsons, Dagon and
Emyrs. Rhoda is also survived by her brother, Allon
Mack
She was a faithful sister in Christ. Always open to share her Christian faith. She spoke with grace and sincerity to anyone who asked about her hope in the Lord.
The family extends their thanks to the staff at The Grass Home in Riverview, NB, for the compassionate care and support they provided to Rhoda during her final years. Their kindness to both Rhoda and her family will always be remembered with deep gratitude.
A celebration of Rhoda's life will be held on Saturday, May 24th, 2025, at 11:00 am with a reception to follow at Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Rd., Riverview, NB. The interment will take place at Fair Haven Memorial Gardens.
