Lois Jean Scouse, 89, of Riverview passed away peacefully on May 23, 2025, at The Moncton Hospital.  She was born in Petitcodiac to the late Andrew (Andy) Carll and Lena Geldart (Carll) (Lockhart).

Lois is survived by her daughter Elaine Matthews, grandson Darren Matthews and partner Jessica Milton, and nieces and nephews.  

After retiring from CN Rail, Lois took up golf which she enjoyed immensely and became a Life Time Member at Country Meadows Golf Course.  Lois also enjoyed and was active in bowling.  

Lois was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was predeceased by her husband Robert (Bob) Gallop, brothers Robert (Bob) Carll and Donald (Don) Carll, daughter (Charlene), and sister in law, Florence Carll.  

In keeping with Lois’ wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service.  Interment will take place at Maplewood Cemetery, Petitcodiac, on Tuesday May 27, 2025 at 10:30 am. Arrangements are entrusted to Cobb's Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Rd. Riverview (506-869-2007).

A very special heartfelt thank you for all of the compassionate care and attention Lois received from the staff of The Grass Home Nursing Home in Riverview, as well as from the nursing staff of Unit 3600 and Palliative Care at The Moncton Hospital.
