It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of
Kenneth "Ken" Taylor Carroll of Riverview, NB, who passed
away at the Albert House Hospice SENB on September 18, 2025. He was
the beloved husband of Annette LeBlanc-Carroll of Riverview, NB. Ken
was born in Moncton, NB, to the late Kenneth and Florence (nee Taylor)
Carroll.
Ken was born in Sunnybrae and attended Moncton High School.
As a teenager, he could be found dancing up a storm at the YMCA
Saturday Night dance. Ken would keep on dancing, taking ballroom
dancing lessons with his wife, Annette. His favourite dance was the
jive and when the music started, Ken could be seen dancing around the
room with everyone trying to keep up.
Ken taught at Riverview High School for 30 years and was a
president of the New Brunswick Teachers’ Association for
School District 02. He was a past president of the Retired Teachers of
the Greater Moncton Area. His love of meeting new people lead Ken to
his new career as a real estate agent. He was a past director of the
Greater Moncton Real Estate Board.
Ken was an avid duplicate bridge player. He enjoyed hosting
bridge games at his cottage at Cap Bimet. He participated in
many tournaments in the Maritimes and in
Florida.
Ken loved to travel. He spent time with his wife in Florida
and enjoyed a good cruise, especially the food. Ken loved food. Every
Wednesday evening, Ken and Annette would meet up with their dinner
club friends to frequent a different restaurant in the
area.
Ken loved to shop. He was always in search of a good deal
whether it be clothes, furniture, decor, or travel. In his later
years, Ken had great fun ordering from Temu.
Ken will be dearly missed by his loving wife Annette,
daughters Jennifer Cunningham (Shaun), Elizabeth Carroll-Maillet, and
Kathleen Carroll, his grandchildren Taylor (Andrew), Dylan, Meaghan
(Madeleine), Ainsley, and Carson, and great grandchildren Violet and
Sullivan.
The family will be receiving friends and relatives at
Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Road
Riverview (506-869-2007) on Monday, September 22 from 2:00-4:00 pm and
