It is with great sadness that we announce the
passing of Donald Kenneth McNulty, who on Monday, October 6, 2025,
passed away at Kenneth E. Spencer Memorial Home and immediately found
his new home with Jesus in glory. Don was the son of the late Seymour
and Susan (Trites) McNulty and was the last remaining member of his
immediate family.
Don will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Fern
and his children: Lynn Webster (Tom), Patty Murray (Chuck), and Troy
Kenneth McNulty (Trena).
He will also be dearly missed by his grandchildren:
Jodey (Glenn), Amy, Gregg (Julie), Christy Leigh (predeceased 2018),
Vickie (Matt), Rebekah, Samarah (Nick), Isaiah (Alicia), and Josiah
(Valerie); as well as his great-grandchildren: Cassie, Timothy, Caleb,
Liam, Nigel, Sophie, Nataleigh, France, Charlotte, Charles,
Georgia-Joy, Serafina, Harvey, Hank, Londyn and Millen.
Besides his parents, Don was predeceased by his
first wife Jeanette and siblings Percy, Boyd, Aubrey, Yvonne, and
Sue.
Throughout Don’s career, he was mostly
employed at the CNR Shops, doing upholstery work. Don was meticulous
in his work and was proud of the work he did, including being part of
the team that refurbished the rail cars celebrating Canada’s
Centennial birthday.
Folklore suggests that Don also took a stab at
sales, selling used cars for a while. Those skills came in handy when
making his pitch to Trena, Chuck, and Tom to take his kids off his
hands!
Don was blessed to have two very special ladies in
his life. Jeanette, his wife, the mother of his children, passed away
far too young. Later marrying Fern, they enjoyed their lives together.
They loved wintering in Florida, the many outings with their friends
and so many special times with the family.
Dad’s faith was in salvation with Jesus.
He lived out his faith. He was active on many boards and his greeting
while ushering on Sunday mornings may have included some teasing as he
passed you a bulletin. Dad spent many hours working with a
group of men doing maintenance around the church. He loved the work
and he loved the banter!
He was affectionately known as Dad, Grampie,
Grampie-ampie, Grandpa, Gpa, Papa Don and Big Don.
We have such happy memories of our life with you and
with these memories in our hearts you will always live
on.
You will be missed.
The family wishes to express our heartfelt gratitude
for the wonderful care that Don received from the special staff on
"B" wing at the Kenneth E Spencer Memorial
Home.
The family will receive relatives and friends at
Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Rd,
Riverview, NB (506-869-2007), on Saturday, October 11, 2025, from
