Marilyn Chambers of Riverview, passed away at Dr. Georges L. Dumont University Hospital Centre on June 26, 2026.

She was born and raised in Elgin, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Willena (Stewart) MacPherson.  She had been employed at Humber College in Etobicoke Ontario when she lived there, she moved back to New Brunswick to help run MacPherson Builders (1978) Ltd with her husband Everett and then worked as a home care worker in her later years.  She was a perfectionistic seamstress, a quilter, a knitter (of many pairs of socks), a baker of all things sweet, and a fabulous bread baker.   She was a devoted member of The Journey Church.

She is survived by and greatly missed by her daughters Lorna Leigh Steeves (Stephen) of Riverview, Shawna Butland (Sheldon) of Caissie Cape, and her son, Todd Chambers (Pat) of Moncton.  Sisters Charlene Carty (Walter) of Salisbury, Ellise Bourque (Michael) of Moncton, her 6 Grandchildren, Warren Steeves (Allie), Scott Steeves (Janice), Kortnie Wadden (Adam), Meaghan Larsen (Jon) and Sherrilynn Gilbert (Jordan), and also her 8 adoring Great - Grandchildren: Landon, Blake, Jake, Levi, Ivy, Samuel, Gunnar and Vivianne.

Marilyn was predeceased by her husband Everett Chambers, her parents Walter and Willena MacPherson, her sisters Elsie Steeves, Elaine Garland, and her brother Gerald MacPherson.

Her family will be celebrating Marilyn's life with family and friends on June 30, 2026, from 1:00 pm until her funeral service at 2:00 pm at Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Rd. Riverview (506-869-2007).
