Paul William Kennedy, 78, of Riverview, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on July 9, 2026. Born in Halifax, NS, he was the son of the late James and Beatrice (nee McCormick) Kennedy.

Paul was a Chartered Accountant by profession. He loved his work and his clients. He had a quick wit, and he enjoyed teasing others. He often had many projects on the go at one time, and his "go to" fix was working with Fibreglass. Paul was a unique individual; smart and kind, with a keen sense of humour!

In earlier years, Paul attended St. Paul’s United Church, where he was treasurer for eleven years. He also had lots of fun on the bowling team when it initially began.

Paul is survived by his wife, Judy, daughter Lisa Joy, and step-grandchildren, Sarah and Will. He also leaves behind sisters Lillian, Mary (Shusuke "Shu"), Julia (late Dave), and brothers Michael (Shelley) and Leo. Judy’s family will miss Paul as well. Aside from his parents, Paul was predeceased by his brother Danny.

Sincere thanks to Michelle of the Heart Function Clinic at The Moncton Hospital. Without you, we would have been lost! Many thanks to the staffs of Units 6600, 5200, and 3600 of The Moncton Hospital. Your kindness and care meant a great deal to us.

Cremation has taken place. A service to honour Paul’s life will be held at St. Paul’s United Church, 404 Cleveland Ave. Riverview in late August. Arrangements are entrusted to Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Rd. Riverview (506-869-2007).

Suggestions for donations to St. Paul’s United Church, Friends of the Moncton Hospital, P.A.W. (formerly S.P.C.A.), or whatever you choose. An act of kindness or just reaching out to a friend is also appreciated.

Many thanks to all who touched Paul’s life through the years; it was an unforgettable journey!
