We sadly announce the death of Catherine Wallis of Moncton, formerly of Montreal, on July 20, 2026, at The Moncton Hospital Palliative Care Unit following a brief illness. Born in Montreal, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Belle (nee Weinstein) Sabbath.

She will be missed by her brother Fr. Peter Sabbath of Montreal and other family members and friends. We are grateful for the kindness shown over the years by her neighbour Justin Hudson.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Rd, Riverview, NB (506-869-2007). Burial will be held in Montreal at a later date. Condolences may be sent at www.cobbsfuneralhome.ca.
