Edith Oakley-Budd, 67 of Moncton passed away Thursday April 7, 2011 at the Kenneth E. Spencer Memorial, Moncton. Born in Baie St. Anne, she was the daughter of Irene Mazerolle and the late John-Fred Meuse.

She will be dearly missed by her mother, Irene Meuse of Baie Ste. Anne, daughters; Christine Saunders (Mike) of Moncton, Theresa Halverson (Craig) of Riverview, son Ernie of Moncton, granddaughter, Sidney, sisters; Jeannine Cyr (Maurice) of Beresford, Rita Morris (Wayne) of Truro, Ginette Despres (Felicien) of Baie Ste Anne and Eva Despres (Mike) of Chatham, brothers; Leo, Walter, Olan, Claude, Johnny and Gerard (Monique) all of Baie Ste Anne, and her brother in law Jean Richard.

Besides her father, she was predeceased by her husband Ernie Budd and a sister, Rena Richard.

There will be no funeral service by request, the family extends an invitation to relatives friends to join them on Saturday April 16 from 2:00 – 5:00 PM at the Saunders Country Inn, 4113 Highway 126 for a time to remember and celebrate Edith life. Donations to the Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated by the family. The arrangements are entrusted to Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Road, Riverview (869-2007).
