With great sadness we announce the passing of Paula (Kelly)
Corrigan of Moncton peacefully at her home on Sunday August 3, 2014 at
the age of 62. Beloved wife of Herbie Corrigan, beautiful mother of
Kathleen Cassidy (Steve), Deanna Corrigan, Joshua Corrigan and Martha
Corrigan, treasured grandmother of Kitt Carson, Seylah Cassidy and
Ella Yohannes. Much loved daughter of Theresa Kelly, dear sister of
Glen (Debra), Marian Gormley (Joe), Anne Koughan (Willie), Donnie
(Paulette), David (Maria), Allan (Kelly), Andy, Helen Chapman (Scott),
and Kevin (Sharon). Dear sister-in-law of David, Margaret Watts
(Buck), Paula Murnaghan (Gerard), Ed (Betty), Reta, Pat (Juanita),
Cathy, Elayne Kirkwood (Bob), Bernadette (Mike), Janet Jones (Lowell),
Joe (Sherri), Barbie Lacey (Scott). Paula is survived by numerous
Kelly and Corrigan nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her
father Frank, a son Jacob, her brother Basil and father and
mother-in-law Herbert and Lalie Corrigan. Paula grew up and went to
school on Prince Edward Island. Her career as a teacher led her to the
Northwest Territories, back to PEI, and then, in 1996, to Moncton NB,
where she retired from Bernice McNaughton High School in
2014.
The funeral service will be held at Moncton
Victory Church, 229 Collishaw St., Moncton NB on Thursday, August 7,
2014 at 3 PM, with a reception to follow. A memorial service for
family and friends on PEI will take place at 3:00 pm on Friday, August
8, 2014 at St. Pius X, 106 St. Peters Road, Charlottetown.
Reception to follow at Paddy’s Pub at the Fort Augustus
Recreation Centre beginning at 5:30 pm.
Donations to the memorial of the donor’s choice
would be appreciated by the family. The funeral arrangements are
entrusted to Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330
